How the estimate works
The estimator starts from your bill amount, monthly units, or peak/off-peak usage. It then estimates system size, expected solar generation, self-consumed units, exported units, and remaining grid bill.
Why daytime usage matters
Solar saves more when generated units are used directly during the day. Exported units may be credited at a lower rate, so homes with more daytime load can see better payback.
What to verify before buying
Ask every installer for equipment brand, model numbers, warranties, protections, earthing details, net-metering scope, and after-sales support.
